- 초록: This presentation discusses the development of manufacturing technologies for long, uniform superconducting wires based on high-Tc oxide superconductors. Although these materials raised expectations for cost-effective power applications after their discovery in 1986, their low mechanical strength and strong dependence on crystallinity made the fabrication of long wire lengths technically challenging. The talk explains the evolution of oxide superconducting wire production and compares the differences between first- and second-generation wire rods. It also examines the manufacturing processes and product characteristics of companies that produce and supply second-generation wires. Finally, it introduces industrial applications based on thin-film wire technology, including superconducting fault current limiters, high-capacity electric cables over 1 GVA, and ultra-high-field magnets above 25 T.
